I agree that every person's case is different and should be approached accordingly, but what has shocked me the most, is the lack of knowledge on Moyamoya in the medical community. But...the Doctors dedicating their practice to moyamoya and having the experience, have definately stated that if you have moyamoya, and do not have the proper blood and oxygen supply to the brain...You are a major stroke waiting to happen. That's a fact! It could be hours, days, months or even years, but it will happen without the surgery. The facts are out there and the long term benefits are...quality of life.

Have you ever seen a person with moyamoya that did not have the surgery in time and have a major stroke? I did and the benefits speak for themself. The surgery couldn't be soon enough or a second or third opinon from an experienced Doctor on this disease, ASAP.
