As some of you may know I have a daughter (8) with Moyamoya. What you may not know is that she is also Down syndrome. Sydney is very high functioning however, she is ok with everything that happens to her. When she had her stroke last April and could not move her arm she said nothing. All she did was ask for help to get dressed for bed. I have no idea how long it was going on.

Ok, Knowing that I am sure you can understand why I am asking this question. What does a TIA feel like? a stroke? Are there any visible signs I can look for as a parent? I asked the same questions to the docs but I think until you experience it you have no clue.

Have any of you experienced bruising on the effected arm of the TIA's? Very little broken cappilaries?
My doc sayd no but how come I see them then MRI comes and Bam another TIA? I would appreciate all the help.
