Nancy, I just saw your response to my earlier post.Thank you for shareing your story. Could you explain the "splint" on your daughters left arm and what it does to help? I have never heard of this.Kathleen's left arm is much slower comeing back than her leg.I guess the motivation is greater to walk.She is the queen of "compensation" She can do almost anything with just her right arm.Kathleen was also born with Down Syndrome so her tone before the strokes was low, but she was running jumping and playing baseball.She seems real determined to do all of this again.We are returning to Boston Children's Hospital for her one year checkup.I would loveto hear more about your daughters recovery if you would like to share more.Sorry it took me so long to see notice your new post I don't know how I missed it.Thank you and prayer for your daughters continued recovery. And I hope you had a great mother's Day. I was just so happy to be home with my whole family this year. Last mother's day I was in rehab with Kathleen.Thanks again...
