Had my appt. with Dr. Steinberg Monday afternoon and all went well. Both of my grafts are wide open and filling the entire brain again like they're supposed to. It's really quite amazing to compare the xrays from pre and post op. It's like looking at two different people's xrays! In other words, my tests look GREAT!
On another note, I spent quite a bit of time with Judy and her family today while she was getting ready for her surgery. They all seemed to be handling it pretty good. They were a little nervous, but that's to be expected. They finally took her to the OR, around 4pm PST so it will be a late night for them. I'm going to try and get back up there around 10pm tonight to see how she makes it through. I'll pass on what I can, when I can.
I'm heading back home EARLY in the morning so I'll check in when I get back home tomorrow night.
