Mandy has complained of head sensitivity since surgery in Feb. 2003 she did not have her hair washed for 2 weeks or more in the begining and being a 20 yr. old thats rough. She still to this day says it hurts it hurts when just the shower water runs on her head. When I brush her hair she sometimes shouts out because it hurts so much. Her neurologist said its from having bilatteral strokes that the part of her brain that tells her its just touch is damaged and the side of your brain you don't have the stroke on usually compansates but hers don't because of the strokes on both sides. He gave her medicine but it doesn't really seem to help. Just wanted to let you know your not the only ones.
