after having an MRI the doctors figured I had ms because of some cells in my brain that were missing the myelin coating that protects them. I then went through a series of tests most of them painful, like the spinal tap, when they diagnosed me with moyamoya. I guess it's possible that I actually do have ms but in the wake of the moyamoya everyone has forgotten about it. I'd much rather have moyamoya, though, over ms because I can have surgery and have it pretty much taken care of while with ms it is incurable.
