Very sorry to hear that but I think you are still in good hands. I've understood from my reading that progressive narrowing is typical for MM, although it is irregular and in often case stops at some point. Perhaps your first surgeries took place when the narrowing was still proceeding. It could well be that you need an additional one as you doc has suggested but after that you will be just fine since the narrowing may well stop.
