I've never used a chat room before but an looking forward to trying it out.

Hi DJ,

Do you have any idea exactly how many people on this website have mm. When my sister was diagnosed in 12/97 = I thought that this disease was so rare. Now, I feel there are more people being diagnosed or is this website bringing them together?

Not sure exactly what the number is but i HAS to be higher than the 1 in 2,000,000 estimate that the Iowa study put out a few years ago.

Don't know whether it's the website that's bringing out more families, or whether moyamoya is just more widely known in the medical community now?

All I know is now everyone who has to find out about moyamoya now has a place to go for support! I'm glad about that.........

What time is the chat on Saturday? I am bringing my 3 daughters to see "ONce Upon a Mattress" in Greenwich Village at 2:00pm. Will the chat be later----and forgive me, I have never been in a chat room in my life----DJ could you just give some basic instructions? I should be home from NYC about 6:30, so if the chat is at night, EST, I would love to be there.......would love to talk live......Patti :) :) ;)
