There was a news report on tonite concerning the malpractice insurance crisis we are having here in Southern Illinois.  
The Families and Victims United group is asking the same questions I am.  I found out that there are six doctors practicing in Carbondale that have been reprimanded by the Medical Board.  One was even once suspended pending investigation.  I cannot find out who this is.  Heaven help them if it turns out to be Arianna's doctor.
They also are looking into how often doctors recieve updates on the latest rare diseases that require immediate medical attention.  Apparantly, misdiagnosis is the leading complaint in malpractice suits filed against these doctors.  I just sat there and cried.  I know our angel is working her magic to help us.  I didn't even know this organization was involved in this whole mess.

Keep your fingers crossed that this will help lead to more education of our physician, nationwide.
