Pat Martin who is a wonderful person that is working very hard for all moya moyers benefit will be having her second surgery Tomorrow morning at NY Presbyterian by Dr. Sander Connolly.
So lets go MM family and Saint Philomena Pray for a successful surgery and speedy recovery. Love you Pat.

Heard from my folks early this afternoon (my time, west coast USA) that Pat came through surgery well and was even cracking a few jokes. Dad wants her to rest and relax and not try to do too much, which she always does anyway. But so far, so good!

Thanks to everyone for keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers. It means a lot to know that none of us here ever has to go through this alone.

thanks for letting us know how pat is i have been thinking about her since yesterday and was ready to call the hospital to try to get some info but i am glad i tried here first it is such great news to hear she is doing well i will continue to pray for pats speedy recovery

Just an FYI for you guys . . . right now is an extremely crazy time for me, being a school teacher. I'm finishing up grades, tonight (Friday) was our big musical, next week is the end of school, I have to move classrooms to another building, and I'm getting ready to start an eight-week fellowship. Add to that the fact that Pat and my parents are three time zones ahead of me, and it all amounts to this: I barely get to talk to them to get updates!

It is frustrating, because of course, she is always on my mind, even through all the craziness. I can't tell you how much I appreciate knowing that at any given moment, one of you is probably thinking about her and/or praying for her. It feels like she's under constant prayer and love, which means a lot to us.

Please do e-mail her, and hopefully she'll respond as soon as she's able to sidle up to her computer at home. I'm hoping to catch up with the folks or perhaps Pat or her husband this weekend.

You guys, my colleagues at work, and the kids in my class, in addition to Pat's many friends and family members have prayed so much for her that I totally trust God to bring her through this in no time at all.
