i was thinking over the past couple of weeks about when we met Linda and Jack and Connie and her friend how happy we were to meet them, even under the circumstances.  But i believe the comfort that we all got from each other was wonderful.

I know a few of you on here are headed to Stanford within the next month, and i would love to come and meet you all if i can, I am working for the next 2 weeks, but after that can travel that way just about any time.  

I think its important to meet others, to show them you care, and are there for them as well as any others....it makes a difference.  Linda and Jack came back when holly had her first surgery, and they were there when Dr. Steinberg came out to talk to us...and i am so happy they were, they got to hear the good news with us, and thats something wonderful to share with others.

I know there are a few of you that will be at Stanford or arriving around the same time we will be.  Holly will have her check up on the 28th, I was hoping to meet more from this website before we move, any chance some of you want to get together???

I am having my surgeries on the 22nd and the 29th.  I can let you know how it is.

at Stanford?

Yes.  I am coming from NC  and my wife is more than a little worried about the surgeries and being by herself.  I am looking for people to keep her company while all this is going on.

I believe there is a library with computers-- the Standord gang can verify this -- but have your wife keep us up to date on your surgeries.  Sending emails from Stanford may also help your wife.
