Several have talked about meeting at Stanford next monday.  Here is what I was hoping, maybe around 1:30 in the cafeteria.  If anyone will be in the hospital at that time, just let us know, and the rest of us could come visit you in your room.

Please PM me if you are interested in meeting monday, that way i can make a list of who all is going, for sure.

Hello to all.  I will be at stanford for my angio at 6:am on the 28th and then on to the first part of the Spect Scan at 2:pm.  I will make every effort to be at the cafeteria at 1:30pm.  If I am unable to be there, Iwould still like to meet.  On Tues I have 7:30 am MRi and a transcranial doppler study at 9am and an appointment with Dr Steinberg sometime in between the 1:pm appointment for the 2nd part of Spect Scan.  So many tests and appointments.  The first big S day is on the 30th.  Not really looking forward to it but I know it needs to happen.  I am really happy to know there will be others there in the same situation.  The greatest challenge to me is explaining what I have and watching the other person look at me in awe!  Lets get this over with and pray for a miracle is how I look at it!  My prayers go out to David and his family right now but will be with all of you on this website for eternity.  Thanks for helping me keep my sanity right now.

I posted this on another thread. Brent, who is having surgery tomorrow, is interested in meeting those of us gathering on Monday. He'll be recovering in his hotel room nearby so he won't be able to make it to the cafeteria. But, he'd love it anyone from the group would visit him or call. Please PM me for his number. I thought it would be great if we could see him on Monday. Let me know what you think.

The meeting sounds great!!!!!!!!! we will be there with chris for a angio on monday. I think at 12 pm. We are staying nearby at Stanford Inn.  We will be there Tues. and wed. as well for the spec scans.

ChrisB1, you must be having your angio after me!  Mine is scheduled for 6am at Stanford.  After talking with David today, I am not sure that I will be able to make it; he reminded me of the tiredness that you feel after the angio.  It has been 2 1/2 yrs since I had my first one.  I had my psych testing done today....long!  By the way, David and his wife Angie are so nice!  One of my fears of the surgery (my first is scheduled for the 30th) has been that I would be in severe pain.  David was not this way at all so it was comforting.  Dwfinately, lets try to meet up while you are here.
