We were scheduled to have an MRI today with contrast. This was to be done on Cierce's spine and brain. Well, the idiot running the proceedure didn't do contrast, said it wasn't ordered. Then, once we were done, he found the order.
So, the MRI showed that Cierce has fluid on her spine. We have to go back and have another MRI with contrast done to determine why.
The kicker, possible tumor.
Ain't life grand!

Tammy---we are all with you and Cierce------to put it bluntly, this s--cks; forgive my language------this must be so frustrating for you........it underscores the IMPORTANCE of having qualified technicians and radiologists who are performing these tests........hang in there and keep us posted......and don't let them double charge you UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.......you and Cierce are in our thoughts and prayers......please don't draw any conclusions until they do the test the right way......love to you, Cierce and all your family......God is with you, girl......He will not fail you........Love, Pat >:( >:( :'( :-*

Don't have to worry about double charge. It is thru Shriner's. The neurologist there was furious. He called over to Children's while we were there and expressed his extreme disappointment at the lack of proficiency on the techs part.
Anyway, after reviewing her urodynamimcs, chance of it being a tumor has fallen down dramatically. Very relieved of that. However, not gone completely. Hopefully we will have a new date within the next couple of days.
