Hi everyone, I made it out to Stanford!! Yeah!  And so far, we're all in one piece!  

Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the party on Sunday.  We drove up and down El Camino Real for an hour trying to find the place we are staying (my father insists he told us we were going in the right direction in the first place, but we're not buying it :) ).  

Of course, in this wonderful weather, we're trying to keep focus on my surgery.  At one point, I said surgery?  What surgery?  ;)

To give a picture of what's it's like out here for me, right now it's 6AM PST (9AM EST for us normally), and my brother is yelling for us to be quiet, I'm worried b/c my laptop isn't working properly, my dad is exercising on the floor, my cousin is yelling at my brother to get up, and my mom is worried that I'm too worried about my laptop and not focusing on my surgery (about the only one with her priorities straight LOL).  If you can picture helter skelter, that would be us.  

So, now I have my pre-op testing stuff today, and I'm going in tomorrow for my first surgery.

Enough about my trip - will update you all on my surgery later this week!!  Wish me luck!!
