Hi everyone.  First I have to say, thank you all so much for the thoughts and support.  I am being discharged today and thought I'd stop by the cyber cafe and do a quick post.  I hadn't expected to see all the wonderful posts out here -- you all are so great.  We met Mark's family and Jill (Tara's mom - hope to meet the rest of the family soon), Kevin and his sister and Michelle and her brother and everyone has been so supportive.  I got down here and just started crying -  it's very comforting.  I've been doing great, but sometimes I think it hasn't hit me yet that I have this disease and that my head has been cut open.  It's just great to see so many people who understand and keep me in a reality check.  :)  

I'll write more on my experience once I get discharged -- DJ, I do have pictures for you.  I'm a nut about my hair and as Medusa as it looks, you cannot see the incision so I'll forward you a couple of photos.  

Talk to you all soon -- glad to hear all the positive updates (and for those who don't have great news, my thoughts and prayers are there with you.  Keep hope alive, and things will work out -- I'm a firm believer of it).  Will try to send more personal posts/e-mails later.

Glad to hear that you are doing well and going home. Keep us poted on your recovery. Trust me i understand how you feel about it all sinking in i had surgery a year ago and it is still hard for me to believe it. Take care my friend!
