Hi All,

I have a question..has anybody experienced non-stop bleeding due to blood thinning medication?  Yesterday, I had a bleeding nose and coughed up some blood for about 4 1/2 hours.  I called my neurologist's office, but the nurse said to call my primary care doctor.  I called my primary care doctor, and his wife said to call my pulmonologist.  I paged my pulmonologist, but he wasn't in the office, so he said "unless you bleed

I finally called my ENT at about 4 p.m., and he said to come in.  He "catorized" both nose at the bleed site...boy did it hurt!!  When the topical anethesia wore off, the pain hurt more than my head at the time!!!  My neuro has decided to stop my Plavix, Persantine and Baby aspirin and has put my on Aggrenox.  

Anybody else experience this?  or on Aggrenox?  Is there any helpful things I should know?
