Hi my name is Lisa and I was diagnosed with MM in 1991. I had sx on the rt side of my brain in 1999 and am doing well. I also have been diagnosed with Wegener's Granulomatosis (WG) amd fibromyalga. I would like to know if any one else has either of these other conditions. Please respond.

My 5 yr old daughter was born with a birth defect. Cleft lip and palate...a yr or so ago we learned she has diabetes insipidus...Her sodium levels are abnormally high. Then we learned she had moyamoya.... Studies indicate her conditions are to due to a part of the brain. I have learned to just deal with what we are handed and try to make the best of everything. If I were to anaylze all the problems she has had in the past 5 years I would loose my mind. I try to remember that Jesus is the center of our world and to think of him. God does not give us a spirit of worry. We humans need to trust more in him. After all he loves her more than I could possible dream of. With that I have a tremendous amount of peace in my heart. ;)

You will find a good number of very helpful people here, who are very knowledgable about moyamoya and are super supportive.
