Hello friends,

I called Shanna's mother today and Shanna is regaining her memory slowly but surely. It's been about 3 1/2 weeks since her surgery (side 2) so she will be going through therapy still.

Irene,

Hey buddy . . . thanks for the update on Shanna! I was thinking her mom would be calling after your last message, but I haven't heard from her. So glad to hear Shanna is improving - baby steps are certainly better than none at all, right? Like it or not, patience is something almost every patient learns through this experience!

Well, must hit the sack, as tomorrow's a Stanford day. Hope you're doing well yourself . . . I'm anxious to hear how work is going, so hopefully we can talk sometime soon!

Thanks for the update.

Shanna has our prayers....everyone's experience is different from start to finish....we do have to hang in there til we heal.
