Title: Matthew's story Post by mattsmom on Oct 3rd, 2005 at 9:55pm
I don't know if anyone wants to hear the whole "drama", but here it is . . .
http://www.pediatricstrokenetwork.com/matthewstory.html Sorry -- but this is the easiest place to find it . . . and I already typed it years ago. However, all the information is current and up-to-date. Kim |

Dear Kim,
Thank you so much for sharing Matthew's story with all of us! I had tears streaming down my face as I read of all you've been through. Looking forward to continuing this journey with you . . . . [smiley=hug.gif], Jill |

Kim,
What a beautiful family and an equally beautiful story about Matthew. Wow! has he been through a lot in a short period of time. How remarkable his journey and recovery. I took Kevin to Dr. Stanley at U of M. He and Dr. Thompson took care of Kevin immediately following Kevin's stroke. They are terrific doctors and Dr. Stanley is an expert in FMD. Thanks for sharing Matthew's story. Matthew is certainly an inspiration of hope for all with MM. Lore |

Kim,
Wow...Matthew is indeed a survivor! What an inspiration! As I have always felt...children truly inspire me at how well they are able to cope and handle these same medical challenges that we adults encounter. Whenever I need some uplifting, I just think of the precious children like Cara, Megan, Daphne, Mikeman and now Matthew and ALL of the other children who have/are experiencing similar challenges all of us with MM are faced with. Everyone here in the MM.com family is very special to me and all play a special role in keeping my spirits up and allow me to continue to face the challenges I've been given. I truly agree that "God was smiling" on your family...as He is on all of us. Thank you, Kim, for sharing Matthew's story. Please give your trooper a big [smiley=hug.gif]! Take care, Shan |
