Title: Redding-California MM patient
Post by TllR on Dec 16th, 2005 at 11:21am

My husband and I just found out that there is another person here in Redding that has MM and would like to get a hold of them.

When I had to take my husband (who has the MM) to the ER the nurse told us that the last time we were there that there was another patient who was there as well with MM. She said the staff was really surprised.

Anyway, if you are on the site and get this message please respond. We would like to see how you are doing and like to chat.

Terry

Hi Debbie,

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I'm sure you’re glad you found this website. We were very thankful to find out about it. Even though everyone is different in their symptoms and recoveries.

My husband Bob was diagnosed in June and had his surgery at the end of June and the second surgery at the beginning of July.

He was 39 at the time of his surgery and had his surgery at Stanford.

His recovery has been real slow, assuming due to his diabetes. But he is progressing.

I will be off work until Tuesday if you get this message. This is where I have the internet.

Hope your recovery is going well and looking forward to hearing from you again.

Keep in touch.

Terry

Hi Linda,

Not sure where Kneeland/Eureka is. I was actually raised in the Eureka/Arcata/ McKinleyville area. Is Kneeland near there?

I see you had your surgery at 49, how old are you now? How was your recovery? What were your symptoms?

My husband was diagnosed at 39, in June of 2005. His recovery has been slow due to him being a diabetic as well. He is finally having more good days then bad.

Please keep in touch, it's comforting to know someone is at least close to where you live.

Terry
