I did a search this morning (more out of curiosity) to see if there might be any new news articles out there on Moyamoya and came up with this one. It's actually a news report on a Houston news channel, KHOU. It's a very good report, I think. It has the link so you can watch the video.

Thanks for sharing the article with us Chelle. I don't mean to sound critical again about the wording of an article, when I know every bit of news out there is great, but I was bothered by the statement, "While some people outgrow the condition, many do not." That's rather disturbing. (IMO) I never read that you can "outgrow" anything concerning this disease, in any research I've ever read. Statements like that, may back-up the dangerous, "wait and see" attitude, that we're seeing all too often.

Hey Mar,

Yeah....that statement bothered me, as well. I think that is lack of knowledge on the reporter's part though more than anything.
