Title: Knock knock Shan are you there? Post by tomg on Jan 20th, 2006 at 5:01pm
:D Hello my Hawaian friend [smiley=hiya.gif] By the way are you Native full blooded Hawian? [smiley=huh.gif]
I just have a quick question. My wife and I were in Hawaii on our honeymoon. First in Oahu then Maui 5 days each. When we were in Honolulu we went to a super wonderful resturant. It was called The Willows. It was very exclusive, expensive and the food and service were impecable. The staff new our name when we arrived(from our reservation) and referred to us by name throughout our dinner. I was even offered a chilled fork for my salad ::) Now that's frufru..There was even a river system filled with koi fish winding through the resturant [smiley=JAW_DROP.gif] I was just wondering if that resturant is still there and if you ever went there? Now here's my plan, as soon as I hit the lottery, my family and I will be there and take you to The Willows ;;D I hope you're feeling ok and Your test results are Ok. Tom :-* |

Here I am! ;;D
[smiley=sayyes.gif] The Willows is still here and has been recently renovated, so it's even better than it was before! I [smiley=heart.gif] it there! In fact, I threw my mom (okay, not literally) a surprise birthday party there. They even have a chapel on site that people may get married in. They still have a wonderful waterway throughout the restaurant. In fact, next to the waterfall, there is a make-shift boat on the water with either 1 or 2 tables, and you can actually reserve those tables and dine on the boat! In fact, check out their website: http://www.willowshawaii.com/ I hope you and your wife come and visit us! And...no, I am not full blooded Hawaiian, but I am part-Hawaiian. My grandmother was full Hawaiian. ;;D There are many here but I think "full blooded" anything is hard to come by. We are the "melting pot" as you can imagine...lots of mixed races here. According to the 2000 Census, the top 3 races were: Asians, Whites, Pacifc Islanders (http://factfinder.census.gov/servlet/QTTable?_bm=y&-geo_id=04000US15&-qr_name=DEC_2000_SF1_U_DP1&-ds_name=DEC_2000_SF1_U) My CT & CTA Perfusion tests were okay. I was so excited to see my neurosurgeon, Dr. Fukushima, yesterday! He's here in Hawaii to lecture in a conference! He has ordered me to do an MRI/MRA Perfusion study....and an angiogram at my 1-year mark (May). I'll keep you posted on how they go... Don't forget, hurry up and WIN the lottery!!! Aloha, Shan p.s. PM me your address so I can send you something "Hawaii" to hold you over until you hit the lottery! ;;D |
