Title: Heartbeat in Ears
Post by pattil647 on Mar 17th, 2006 at 11:25pm
My son, Michael (11-years old) has moyamoya.  His 5-year old sister was telling me earlier this week that she could hear her heart in her ear.

I understand that some of you with moyamoya can hear something similar in your ears.  Can you please let me know what you hear and how often you hear it?  I'm really worried that my little one is developing moyamoya too.

Does anyone know if there may be other reasons why a person would hear their heart in their ears -- when they're not running..

Thank you.

Hi

Post surgery, I can hear my pulse in my left ear. It seems to be amplified when I have my head resting on something such as a pillow.

I am not a doctor, but I do know other "normal" people also hear their pulse.

I hope that it is nothing.

regards

Helene
