I stumbled across an interview on the TOday Show this morning with a mother and her 5 yrs old daughter Emily.
Emily had experienced a very severe stroke as a baby (Im not sure what age i missed the start) and was pretty much fully recovered... Anyway, the doctor who had diagnosed her was, commenting on and explaining possible causes of a stroke in a child. NO mention of Moyamoya.... which pissed me off slightly.... you'd think that would be a pretty obvious suggestion (not that she had MM but still...) hmmm Maybe he hadn't heard of it! Who knows.. |

I ust went to their site and read the story and e-mailed them. Stating that I was dissapointed that Moyamoya was not on hte list of causes.Told them a little about our case, and this site.
