Hi gang, I'm home, the surgery went very well, I was up and walking the next day, I have big improve after surgery, doctor Tamargo is wonderful and so his staff, they all very nice, I got discharge yesterday, tired after almost 4 hours drive, I feel much better today, thank for all of your concern and prayer :) (for 8 hours surgery I really need that :D)

Im glad to here you are home and doing well. Its sounds like you are doing good. Make sure you get lots of rest and hope your recovery continues so well. You will be in my thoughts!

Dear Kieu,

I'm so glad to hear your surgery went well, and that you are home on the mend. One of the hard things now will be to be patient with yourself and to give your body time to heal. Don't be impatient when small things seem to take all the energy you have - it's very normal!

Hi Emily, my brain is going 100 miles/hour, but my body so far behind so I have to wait on those body_brain getting better commute [smiley=laugh.gif]. Hope someone post out to let me know how you doing, you are in my prayer [smiley=hug.gif]

It's been a while since I've been here, but I'm so grateful to read your post that your surgery went well and you're home now! AMEN! Also glad to hear you did well on your commute. I remember I got car sick so easily after my surgery (I still get car sick now when I'm in the car too long).

Hi Kieu,

I'm glad you're home!! I just returned from Stanford this afternoon. I had both sides done. I have to say...I feel great [smiley=sayyes.gif] Only thing is I'm a bit tired from the flight. As far as the energy level goes....I feel like I can run a couple of miles, but I push myself a little too much then I crash and burn. [smiley=moonwiggle.gif] It sure feels nice to be home!! I've come to appreciate everything. I have made many friends from Stanford. Welcome home!!

Hi gang, thank you all for your support, my enegy level is still bad, my right side acting up( I think, 'cause my left arm & leg start feel weak & ache & numb now & then), will discuss w/ dr. next week when I have a follow up. Hey Jan, I'm glad you home and doing well, hope you have fast recovering, I still didn't drive yet, my visual have minor damaged and I'm not comfortable yet behind the wheel. Not sure why, but I'm very slow recovery, it could be my extra weight slow me down [smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=laugh.gif] Will let you guy know what next with me after follow up appt. on May 17.
