Hello Everyone, What does a bypass surgery cost.? We have Kaiser and am not sure if they will pay for a bypass. How long would the procedure and recovery be..We have not heard back from Dr. Steinberg yet..God bless all of you!M Aloha GP

Hi GP, I'm not sure how much it cost, but I know it cost fortune, if insurance don't want to pay call insurance and ask to talk to insurance's medical doctor, explaine to him what going on, make sure to ask him if he know MM, if your brother have insurance through work get HR involve, that what we did, and they pay for my surgery. Hello Moody,Thanks for the info. I will check in to it. My brother is doing better and may ba sent home this week.He has been in hospital for six weeks.Today he had a shunt put in to relieve pressure. It seems to have helped..I expect Dr.Steinberg may want to do the bypass asap.We will try to get the insurance to pay. He does have dual coverage.Again
