I went for my neuro apt today.  I saw Dr. Mericle in Nashville, Tn.  He seemed to know alot about MM. I go  8-1-06 for my test (angigram?) Then I have surgery on
8-7-06.  He said that he is 85% sure this is what I have.  He can't be 100% until the angigram.  I was very pleased with the time he spent explaining everything to me.  He will have his own team of brain anathesiaologist.  Please keep me in your prayers.

yeah the angiogram will confirm the MM and how advanced it is, and so hence which surgery will be most appropriate..
has he discussed the likelihood of direct or indirect bypass?

I'll be routing for you! How was your angiogram? Did they tell you the results yet?

I knew that something was found....even before they wheeled me out of the OR (although they thought it was a severe vasculitis....but we knewI was severely occluded right from the angio....I think they told me...cus I insisted so strongly ....I was overhearing them over in the corner...and it was driving me crazy not to be included!)
