has anyone experienced bleeding from the eyes my daughter sandy has them very often just like a nose bleed but there is no changes in her mri or ct and the dr is baffled he told me it was a nose bleed so heavy that it was coming out the tear ducts and other dr say they have never heard of blood coming out of the tear duct we have had lots of theorys but in reality noone really knows the answer oh she tells me right before an episode her head hurts and then she cant see for about 2 secounds, just like to know if anyone else knows about this?

Sandy,

I have never heard of bleeding eyes,  Does this accomany with a nose bleed or blood in the ears or mouth???????

        Does your Daughter Have MM?

The onset however sounds like a migrane with the headache and loss of Vision ( i am not a dr.) but my aurra for a migrane is my vision fades out and then get hit repeatedly in the head with a baseball bat.

This may sound a bit obvious but have you seen a Opthamologist (the can plug tear ducts).

could it be a overactive tear duct that is raw from always draining (which I think would be a thyroid problem)????????

Just things to consider

warm whishes and Hugs

Mike

sandy does have mm she had surgery at 6 mthe of age we have been to eye specialist but nothing the only explaination i have heard that even makes a little since is the weak vessels that get dry and burst but i have done what  the doctor said put vasiline in the nose cause it will began from the nose then the eyes but it is more heavier from the eyes, and she still haves them  they are not like every day maybe once a mth but when it happens it will reoccur for 2 or 3 days in a row and then it stopsshe has been put on a medication  a preventive med for the migrainesit seems to have helped some but she had another episode about a mth agoit was only that one day, it lasted for a long time when it started i tried to help her myself i done everything i was told to do but it kept gettig heavier so i called the paramedics and we ebded up in the er for about 2 hrs before it stopped , and they didnt tell me anything except that there was no change on mri or ct from before so they didnt know what to do.
