so i'm digging up my "return to work" thread - or starting a new one, whatever...

i started a job last week and successfully got through my first 40 hr week in 10 months, very stoked.....
so yehaa for me :) hehe

working as a restoration technician, for contents insurance, so cleaning/restoring damaged contents from fires anf stuff... different, dirty, fit etc... i love it :)

I had my first surgery in 05/06. I went back to work in the middle of June and have been working ever since. It seems to be getting harder and harder to work everyday [smiley=huh.gif] I am a credit manager. I love my job as well. :)

yeah i might have been too excited too early... damn exhausted now after 2 weeks... doesn't help that i've been working weekends doing dreads too....

tired tired little puppy here :(

Hi Emily

Great to see you are back at work.

I was lucky and my work had me on full pay while I was off from Oct to end of Jan, and then while I was on a return to work program from Feb to end Jun. Finally returned to work F/T in July.

I have decided that we should all be paid for a full 40 hour week, but only work 30 hours - 6 hours per day
(just enough time for a "nanna" nap before dinner time !)

Maybe we could petition Johnny Howard .....
