A Big bost to my post stroke life is the  Tramatic Brain Injury (TBI) school in Eureka, Ca. (Eureka Adult School). We meet three afternoons a week.

Most of the folks are brain injured by trauma to the head but the damage  is similar.

We share memory problems, language difficulties, behavior glitches, and a feeling of being alone, slow and alien in the 'real world' . Class is a place where I feel safe and enabled.

Our teacher,  Brenda Bertain has enabled us to grow as a class and as individuals. I am thankful for her awareness and kindness.

There may be groups such as this one in your community that could be of help to people with memory and speech glitches.
Or you might want to begin a discussion group that meets in a public place and shares brain damge life situations, ideas, etc.
