Hi everyone,

 Well it's been two precious years since Mark had surgery at Stanford. We can remember so vividly meeting the MacInnese's and how much confidence we got when we met Tara.  Hell, if a pretty young lady like Tara could go through that, surely a big strapping guy like Mark could.  Tara just between you and I, your much touhger.  But don't tell Mark I said that.  And as parents, Jill and Campbell helped us cope and get through the long hours during the surgery.

  As we watch the MM board and see the first time visitor numbers grow, it brings us back to the day that Mark was diagnosed.  And to think of the bad days he had and that he would not have to have endured all of those tough days if he was diagnosed earlier.  

 But there has been alot of attention in the last 2 years that hopefully will help future MM patients be diagnosed and treated sooner than has happened in the past.

We still get to make annual trips to California from Syracuse, but thinking of the time we get to spend with the wonderful folks we met there, it comes quick and goes too fast.

 Had it not been for DJ starting this support group and everyone that frequents the board, our life probably would not be as terrific as it is now.  So here is a TOAST to all of you and especially to everyone we have met personally!!!  Dr. Steinberg and the team at Stanford are the BEST!!!  And to all MM patients, you are heros to us for beating it.......

Yahoooooooooooooooooooo!!!  Doesn't it feel great to be able to say you're 2 years out of surgery?  It was a big one for us, too, and now Tara's looking forward to #3 later this year.  2007 will be full of activity for you guys, what with Mark and Danielle gettin' hitched in a few months.  (I guess Tara had better quit calling Mark her New York boyfriend, huh?)  We are so happy for all of you . . . even from way out here in Cali!

Ron, sorry I missed your call today.  Didn't hear it until it was too late to return the call tonight.  Will give you a buzz tomorrow, and we can talk dates for you to come out, o.k.?

Congrats to Mark!  I'm so thrilled...I too, like Kevin, will never forget you guys...I still remember the day we met in JoAnn's reception area, the day before my first surgery.  Mark's story gave me hope, Ron and Lisa gave comfort to my parents.  

Here's to many more anniversaries!!!!!!!!!

I, like Kevin and Trina, remember our first meeting at Stanford in the CT area when I noticed Ron wearing the blue MM bracelet. As Cubbie mentioned, you guys were the first MM family we met. We have had some great times together including our Chili's dinner night out this past May. And I still know which chair in the surgery waiting room belongs to Lisa.  [smiley=winkkiss.gif]

Your sooooo right Ron when you say our time together comes quick and fast. Hopefully we can continue to get together even if it is in California.

Mark's second year anniversary is certainly precious and has to be a great moment for you all. I really miss you guys and wish Mark many.... many more happy anniversaries.

Ron, Captain Cubbie would still love to go flying with you if only the FAA would allow it. Darn it anyway! [smiley=crackup.gif]
