My son is 4 months old and getting surgery on Feb 20 in Boston by Dr. Scott.   We are nervous and wanted any information on the recovery after surgery or any other information anyone can offer.

That’s heartbreaking that your baby son has MM and having surgery, I can’t even imagine what you must be going through, God love ya! But the good news is you’ve got one of the best pediatric MM experts in the country doing his surgery. He’s in great hands. Children are resilient through this; many say they handle it so much better than the parents. I’m sorry I don’t have a personal experience to share to help comfort you or help you, but please know that you and your son are in my thoughts and prayers and a special prayer chain will be started tomorrow at my church.

i really am very sorry to hear about your dear little boy. as a parent i am familiar with what you must be going through as my son also has this disease. my son is now 11 and the doctors are playing a watch and see game with him but it turns out they think that he has probably had this since birth.
