hi guys,
all being well with my son on his next visit to the specialist in march we (my family 2 adults and 3 kids) are going on holidays to yankee land in september through to october. have booked some of our accomodation including an rv trip across country from los angeles to washingon new york.  we have even very cornily planned to get remarried in las vegas in the chapel of love with elvis as the celebrant.  
anyway guys i was wondering if you guys could suggest where we should book to stay in new york and honolulu as so much to chose from. thought maybe the hilton in new york but not sure, and honolulu no idea.... any ideas

Hotels in NYC can be extremely expensive. Let me know what your price range is and I'll give you a few suggestions. The other thing that I would add is there is a Sheriton Hotel in Weehawken, NJ....NY Waterways runs a ferry that is litterly 50 feet from the hotel directly to mid-town NYC. Its about a 5 minute ferry ride. Hotel is about 1/2 of NYC price...ferry is about $9 round trip.
