Title: Brandon Matthew has arrived!!!

Brandon Matthew Johnson arrived this morning at 9:49am CDT!! He was 8lbs 2 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. Everything went exactly as planned and he is completely healthy, beautiful, and PERFECT!!

Gotta do this quick because I have to get back up to the hospital, but here are some of his first pictures...

I will post more over the next few days as I get the chance to get back to the house and get them downloaded.

Now....I have always said..."the couples that truly make beautiful babies....should make many!!!!"

I suppose a slight rest for the new mom is in order....then you work on the DJeez team later!

Well, it looks like I've found a very weak, very random wireless signal in the room! ;;D Brandon just got done eating so he and Steph are crashed out for a little bit.

Last night was awesome! Brandon slept for 4-5 hour spurts and only woke up to feed. Huge difference from the first night when he only slept for 15-20 minutes at a time.

Since I have a couple extra seconds on my hands I thought I'd put up a couple pictures of mommy and Brandon this morning... THANK YOU for all of the kind words and well wishes. The ALL mean so much!

Word on the block is we might be able to go home sometime today... YIPPIE!!

Congratulations, DJ & Stepanie! So happy things went well - he is beautiful! Betcha can't wipe that smile off!!
Enjoy him and savor every moment - my boys turned 12 & 14 this summer (it goes SO fast!) Seems like only yesterday I was rocking a baby like you now.......
He's a lucky little boy - he has two wonderful parents and a big brother, too!

WOW!!! Talk about being late..I missed it . D.J. and steph and Conner he is gorgeous what a perfect adorable baby. He is truly beutiful, enjoy every minute it zooms by. Brandon is lucky to have a big brother like Conner, they'll be best buds. You guys are so blessed give him a kiss and hug for me, I'm so emotional. Good Luck and I'll know you'll take great care of him.
