October 1st already...where'd the year go?  When I found out we were pregnant August couldn't get here fast enough and now Conner just had his 7th birthday Thursday and Brandon is 8 weeks old tomorrow...they really do grow up too fast!!

Since it is October 1st, the CNN Hero nominations are closed.  I want to thank each and every one of you that took time out of your schedule to work on your nomination.  I'm really hoping that we hear something from this...it would just be amazing.  However, if we don't get word, he has already been nominated by this community and clusterheadaches.com, that is enough for his heart.  I will definatly keep you all informed.

I snapped a couple pictures Saturday of Brandon giggling with daddy...too precious!!!  He's getting so big, he has outgrown his bassinet and went to the "big boy" bed last night in his room.  I think...no, I know it was harder on me than it was on him...still slept 7 hours  LOL  He also thinks he's a big boy...lifting his head up 90 degrees...next he'll be off to Stanford...

Thanks for sharing the sweet and precious pics.  That big smile on Brandon and DJ is just so precious.  I see a proud papa in DJ.

I know the feeling of going to the big boy bed.  Now that my son is grown and married, when I look back, it seems I looked at him one day and he was a child and I looked at him again and he was a man.  Just seems like time flies.   Just enjoy Brandon.  He is in that sweet and lovable stage.

I hope to hear from CNN as well.  DJ is so deserving of this nomination. He has done extraordinary things for many. He may never know just how many people he has not only helped but was instrumental in saving their life. He's definately a hero in my book!

It's nice to know DJ has been recognized by his community and by clusterheadaches.com.  Hopefully we will add to the recognition with a pick by CNN.

When I got done with CNN, DJ walked on water.  Who knows, maybe CNN will contact DJ simply out of curiosity? lol!
