Title: Talk about surprise! Post by Rena on Oct 9th, 2007 at 10:15pm
Well Tyler went to see a new PCP today and boy was I surprised to find out he knew about MM! Once he read over Tyler's medical record the first thing he did was to check his blood pressure to make sure it wasn't high.
Now I just need to get him to understand Tyler's migrains, he seems to think they are connected to Tyler's Cerebal Palsy. I told him they didn't start till after the stroke, but heck if his ideas help with Tyler's migrains or CP I will be happy. |

Hi Rena,
Great news! A doctor familiar with MM! That's a great start! Hope the good doc can help Tyler with his migrains. Wouldn't that just be the icing on the cake?! Only the very best to you and Tyler. Keep us posted. Hugs, Lore |

I will definitely keep you all updated on this. I was already for the questions about MM that I didn't know what to say when the doctor already knew what it was...LOL
Tyler is also severely swayback, the doctor said if we could get his spine in the natural position it should help with the migrains and his CP. Not sure if it will help with the migrains, but heck just improving Tyler's pain level from his CP would be great. I also have a question for those of you with kids that have had a stroke: Have there been any changes in the growth rate of the side of the body affected by the stroke? Tyler's left side seems to be growing slower than his right side. He had to get a heal lift for his left leg last year, and even his left arm seems shorter than the right one. |
