I am happy with my surgeon Eric Nussbaum, but I need a regular nuerologist to follow my care. I am unhappy with the neurologists at my clinic, they are unfamilliar with moya moya. Ive been diagnosed for 3 years now and the neurologists are either too busy to have learned more about it or there just not interested. Also it takes forever to get to see them and once they prescribed a dangerous prescription headache med for me that you should not take if you have breathing problems- I have sleep apnea and use an air machine, and moya moya inhibits air to the brain, I would have thought mu neurologist would have known not to prescribe  what he did. So I need a new doc. I am willing to look outside my plan. Does anyone know of a good neurologist in twin cities are preferably with some Moya Moya knowledge. My name is Becky and I live close to Minnapolis. I see Dr. Tarrel of the Noran Clinic of nurology 621-897-1500. If he is not avalible see ANYONE of them.  The office is right across the street form Abott hospital. I am finaly off All my Meds! They are the nicest group of doctors. They will spend as much time as needed with you. I was waiting for and hour to see him since he was with a pacent that needed special help he told me later. THE BEST!!!
