Title: Meadow's in surgery Post by lorabeas on Jan 8th, 2008 at 2:51pm
Meadow is having her 1st indirect bypass today (right side). She went back about 7:30am (pacific time). We are about to get word right now from the volunteer. Last time she checked, there was about an hour left, and Meadow was doing well. I am on pins and needles!
Here is the link to Meadow's care page so I can post updates: www.caringbridge.org/visit/meadowbeasley |

I had my bypass done at Stanford by Dr. Steinberg. You are in the best hands. I hope Meadow's surgery goes well as does her recovery.

Meadow is doing well today (1st day post-op). She moved to step down earlier this afternoon.
She is more playful this evening, and even gabbered to her brother on the cell phone. Thanks to everyone for all the prayers and thinking of her. She is a tough little girl!! |

Meadow is being discharged from the hospital today, after EDAS #1 (right side). She will come back to Packard next Tuesday for surgery #2, on the left side. In the meantime we will be staying at the RMH.
Thanks everyone for keeping her in your thoughts! Lora 8) |

Hi Lora:
I am here this week for 6 month follow up. I would love to stop by and visit you and your daughter if you are up for it. I will be at the hospital for tests on Thursday and Friday. Let Jill know if it is okay and I will have her show me where you are. Sandi |

That would be great Sandi. I will try to reach Jill tomorrow. We are on the Children's side of the hospital.
Meadow had surgery #2 yesterday, the 15th. She is still in ICU. She is gone now for an MRI. We are hoping that tomorrow she will be stable, and can go to the floor. Take care everyone, Lora |
