i was suppose to have surgery the 18th then they moved it to the 20th, and today it was cancelled, they had an emergency case early this morning, so now its the 27th, i am upset, because i was ready to get this done, now i have a whole week of being nervous and anxious, I think i will be alright i just pray I can actually get the surgery the 27th,

Hi Mlgohsman,

Sorry to hear your surgery has been rescheduled for the third time! I feel your frustration and anxiety. The waiting is the toughest.

Hang in there and know this will happen next week. The upside is it gives you another week to get things done that you may have not had time to do this week and allows you to spend additional quality time with your family. Try to enjoy this extra week. Maybe have a cookout or do something fun as a family or do something special for yourself to try and eliminate the being nervous and anxious. If you are engaged in activity, the time will fly.

I can imagine how frustrated you must feel, but try to stay calm, breathe deeply and enjoy each of the days between now and surgery. Each one is precious.

hang in there... remember, things happen for a reason. just be grateful and pray for the "emergency case" that your surgeon had to tend to... evidently, that patient is in worse condition than you are. i know you were probably ready for your surgery, especially as it was already scheduled once before. :P keep your head up and remember we're here for you! ;;D things could be worse...
