OK, so I'm getting ready to go out and have surgery. They told me that there is a week of testing. Can someone tell me what tests are going to be done at Stanford University before the surgery? And what the tests consists of. Thank you.

It's pretty much the norm for an MRI, angiogram, SPECT with and w/o diamox, probably some blood work, possibly a psych. appt. (don't worry, you're NOT crazy), and maybe a Xenon.  

Jill, can you give us more insight?  Did I miss anything or add too much?

When are you scheduled for your surgery?  Maybe I missed it but, are you having one side or both done?

I am having both sides done. I did have a stroke in April, so pretty much everything they did when I was in the hospital with that? I can handle that. Thank you for the quick response. That is what is so wonderful about this website everybody is so wonerful about helping each other and when you have a question it is answered right away. I was so fortunate to find this site and I will continue to help others that have questions after I have my surgery we are like a family on here that can answer questions for each other!! It's so wonderful!!!!
