During my daily search for information i ran across something intresting. I was researching Marfan Syndrome because my family has a HUGE history of it, (I, almost all my cousins, aunts, and my Grandad had Marphans in some shape or form).  When i asked Ethan's (my son) surgeon if there was a connection she said that there was a possibility, but Dr Scott said that he personaly hadnt dealt with a marphans case related to MM. I was wondering if there was anyone here who had any info they could share or if they had marphans also. I am just trying to get as much information as humanly possible so that when the surgery comes I am as informed as possible. Thanks a lot.

has anyone come across any Chromosome 22 deletion or related disorders in their family?  Where did you get the info linking Marfan Syndrome (Chromosome 15) and MMD??  Thanks!

Honsetly i dont remember what web site it was. Emedicine i think. The surgeon told us that the Marphans was more than likely the cause of the MM. But I havent found out much more than that.

I have read that there is a "link" or association of Moyamoya and certian conditions.  I did read there was a connection between moyamoya and Marfans.  This is the only site I found so far today, however I know there was more sites connecting the two.  Hope this helps anyway.  I will send other links if I find them!
