My brother just had EDAS. While in recovery they r now doing a ct scan. Is that normal?

Welcome to this forum.

I don't know about others, but Luca didn't have a CT scan right after surgery. I imagine this is possibly linked to your other post which describes his temperature immediately after surgery, and the doctors are trying to find the cause.

Try to keep faith, it's possible his body is just reacting to the trauma of brain surgery.

Sorry I can't be more help on this situation, I'll be thinking of your brother. Keep us posted.

I had a CT after surgery - I had woken up from the anesthesia and had constant TIA's - they did a CT scan pretty quickly.
