Maybe I'm just freaking out, but my brother just had edas surgery and is now running a 102 degree fever? They think its respiratory, cultures went out and not back. He just had the surgery this morning.

I wish I could say something to comfort you. Are you able to talk with his doctor? It sounds like they are right on top of his care. Don't hesitate to ask them questions. Though they are busy, they should be able to take a moment to communicate with you.

I had a mild fever myself. The doctors helped as much as they could. In my case I was not sick, it was just my body recating to the stress of the surgery. If you have any questions I would not hesitate to ask the doctors helping your brother. I hope and I will pray for things to be well.
