I am 3 weeks post op and my hair on the left side same side of the surgery is coming out a lot has this happended to anybody else didnt
know if it was normal or not didnt know if it was becuase of the surgery or all of the medications that was used the hair around my incision is starting to grow back i know that i shouldnt worry about it but i am thanks for any help on this issue

Sometimes the steriods that they use to keep your brain from swelling post surgery can cause peoples hair to fall out. Could also be your body's response to the trauma to that side of the head. There is lots of what if's. Teresa told me last Monday when I asked if something was normal, "if you are experiencing it, it's probably normal for you". I'm not sure if that helps at all. I hope you are doing well.

it seems to me that I heard something about Hairloss after surgery. I want to say it had something to do with lower blood flow to the scalp because it is now being supplied to the Brain.
