Just wanted to post a message about my daughter Courtney. She is in surgery right now in Boston with Dr. Smith. Should be in all day. I'll try to post later.

Many prayers for a successful surgery and quick recovery.Even after 7 yrs I remember all too well that waiting.My daughter was in Boston also with Dr. Scott.The one thing that made it easier was they were wonderful with frequent updates from the OR.

As Mary Grace mentioned, the memories of waiting out a surgery day don't fade. Those of us who have done it understand completely the myriad of emotions and angst you have now. All you want to hear is that she's o.k., and you'll probably dissolve into a pile of mush once you're told that. Courtney is in great hands though, and hopefully your day isn't terribly long, with good news at the end of it.

Please keep us posted as you are able. We're definitely with you in spirit!

she is in icu now and we will be able to see her soon. everything looks good, Dr. Smith says she did great. moe info later. thanks for the kind thoughts and prayers.

Hi Pam,

I'm so happy for these news ... you are in a great hospital. The staff in the ICU and 9th plant is wonderful. My daughter Paula was operated by Dr. Scott and Dr. Smith 4 months ago and everybody there was extremely caring and profesional.
