It has been a year since the last surgery, but I still have extra dry ithcy skin around by insintion which is close to my ear.  Sometimes the skin toward the top of my lobe is flakey.  I have tried vitamin E, but the crusty stuff still comes back.  Anybody successfully solved this problem? :-[

You are not alone. It has been almost 4 years postop for me and i still get a dry itchy around the insision from time to time. I sugest keeping yourself hydrated and maybe switching shampoo/conditioner to something that has more moisture or dandruf control. That has helped me.
