My niece has had both surgeries done at Stanford.  There has been some complications.  She is having some speech issues.  I am sorry I never updated but life has been hectic.  If you have any positive thoughts to send her way they would be much appreciated.  She was never released between her surgeries and is still at Stanford.  She has been in the hospital since the 18th.  Not sure when she will be released or coming home.

Hi Mac,
Positive thoughts and prayers for a rapid recovery are on the way to your niece. My friend had some troubles during and after her surgeries at Stanford. She had an extended stay but is completely recovered. If you met her today, about eighteen months post-surgery, you'd never imagine that she'd any troubles at all.  I'm praying that your niece as the same amazing outcome.

With enough time your niece will recover from these secuelas. My daughter had too some problems after surgery and she was admited in the ICU for 5 days but fortunately she recovered and she is now fine. I'll pray for your family. Please keep us updated.
