Hello everyone...I hope everyone is doing well and those of you that are new to the moyamoya family, good luck to you as you have better days ahead. I haven't been on the board in a long time. But I thought I should let everyone know that mark just passed the 5 year mark and is doing well. As a matter of fact he married a little over 2 years ago to Dannielle whom he was dating while he was getting treatment. And they have a beautiful baby girl Emma. She will be 2 in April and there is another on the way due around Emmas birthday.

Congradulations Mark,,,,,I just had my 12th Anniversary New Years Eve.

I've had a Long Hard road myself :( However I wasn't DXed till Many Strokes Before being DXed and I am a Diabetic, High Blood Pressure, & High Cholestrol....... :)

Mark,

Wow! Is that really you, Mark? The Mark we met at Stanford? My goodness, a lot has happened since we last saw you and your mom and dad.

Congratulations on reaching your 5 year anniversary and on your baby Emma and new baby on the way!

We miss you and your mom and dad but are certainly elated about all your good news.

Say hi to your mom and dad and don't be a stranger and keep us posted on the birth of your baby.

Well done to Mark and family. 5 years is definately a mile stone worth celebrating. Best wishes going forward and good luck with number 2.

Mark, that's awesome! 5yrs sure is a milestone. Sounds like you've been busy as well as healthy. I wrote in "daily jibber jabber" section about Kathleen being 8yrs stroke free. I know how wonderful it feels to chalk up another healthy year. I wish you many more healthy happy years!
