Hello, My 7 year old daughter has been diagnosed with moyamoya and we have been refered to a specialist in Great Ormand Street Hospital in London. Has anyone any info/experience with surgeons there? We are from Scotland and also wondered if there was anyone else from here on this brilliant site?

Jackie,

I saw where at least two posters have been to GOSH and have good things to say about it. On the message board look under the tab for doctors/surgeons and you'll find them. Then you can click on their names and send them a message. Hope this helps I know you are anxious to get as much information as you can.

My 1 year old daughter was operated on in Newcastle, which is a lot closer for you. Dr Mendelow and his team were fantastic. Here are the details:

apparently Children's Hospital episode 11 had a wee lass with mm last night.
am trying to find it for you x
