Title: wish us luck..(update) Post by mg12061 on Sep 9th, 2010 at 5:07pm
Tomorrow morning Kathleen goes in for Botox injections. We have to be there at 7:30 AM. It's been scheduled for a few months but I"m just now getting a little nervouse. Mostly because of the anesthesia.
**************************************** Everything went smoothly this morning. They ahve the pre-op stuff down like clockwork. She came out of anesthesia very quiclkly and couldn't wait to get home. We won't see the effects of the botox for a few days. Thanks for the prayers and good thoughts. Mary Grace |

Hope everything is going great. My daughter may need Botox down the line. I didn't know they put u under for that. I thought they just injected it at the office. She would need it in her legs. I would love 2 hear more about this topic if u have the time? I'm going 2 look for old post now. Thank you and good luck 2 Kathleen. Danielle

Danielle, I was a bit nervouse for Kathleen and the anesthesia mostly but it went so smoothly. We won't see the results for a few days, when I do I'll let you know. I don't know if every dr. does it under anesthesia but ours did and i'm so glad. It's a series of injections and I know it would be awful for Kathleen to have to go through that every few months. I just couldn't put her through it I don't think. She also would ahve to stay perfectly still so they can get it in the exact spot. the way our hospital did it they gave her a drink and she fell asleep so she would not have any memory of anything painful or scary. Then they put her under. I think this was great because now it will be easier to get ehr there the next time she won't have any anxiety about it. I'll keep you posted.
